Independent app — not a Government of India service.
Not an official document. e-OCI Pocket is an independent app by A&Y Partners. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Government of India, the Ministry of Home Affairs or any Indian mission. Always carry the documents your airline and the authorities require.
From PDF to card in three steps.
- Download your e-OCI PDF from the Government of India’s OCI Services portal.
- Open it in e-OCI Pocket — share it to the app from Gmail, WhatsApp or Files, or pick the file.
- Check the details, save, and your card is ready — locked and available offline.
Show it with confidence.
Easy to read
Your photo, name, OCI number and passport number up front, in large clear type — the details officials look for first.
Every detail, organised
Personal details, family names and address in clear sections, with the barcode and the “verify online” QR code below.
Original PDF, one tap away
If you’re asked for the real thing, show your e-OCI exactly as issued, with pinch to zoom.

Tap the QR code to show it full screen with the screen turned up bright, ready to scan.

Private by design.
Your e-OCI holds some of your most personal details. It never leaves your phone.

- No internet access needed to open, unlock or show your cards
- Encrypted on your phone with a key that never leaves it
- Opens with your fingerprint, face or PIN
- Screenshots blocked on card screens

- No ads, no analytics, no tracking
Good to know.
Is e-OCI Pocket an official Government of India app?
No. It’s an independent app by A&Y Partners, an Australian company. It isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by or approved by the Government of India or any Indian mission.
Does the app upload my e-OCI?
No. Your e-OCI is read and stored on your phone only, encrypted. The app has no accounts and no servers, so there is nowhere to upload it to.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Opening, unlocking and showing your cards and the original PDF all work in flight mode.
Does the QR code prove my OCI is valid?
No. The QR codes are copied from your e-OCI as issued. The app doesn’t check identity, document validity or travel eligibility — only the authorities can.
Can I use the card instead of my e-OCI?
No. It’s a personal copy for convenience. Always carry what your airline and the authorities require.
What happens when I change phones?
Cards are deliberately left out of backups. Install the app on your new phone and import your e-OCI PDF again. A Family pack comes back through Google Play on the same Google account.
